Fees School fees are charged by term and invoices are usually sent out in the first two weeks of each term.
Means-Tested Fees Concession Parents who, because of low income or financial hardship, consider that they cannot meet full payment of fees, may submit an application for a Means-Tested Fees Concession. Each application will be dealt with discreetly and in the strictest confidence. Application forms are available from the Bursar. Enrolment Application Fee A non-refundable application fee of $55 per child being enrolled is payable to the school upon submission of a formal Enrolment Application. The fee covers administration costs in processing the application. Enrolment Confirmation Fee When offered a position at Good News Lutheran School, a $400.00 enrolment acceptance fee will be requested. This represents a $100 non-refundable enrolment fee with the balance ($300) refunded at the end of Yr 7 or when leaving, provided that one clear terms notice has been given. Should the enrolment confirmation fee be paid and the student's enrolment cancelled before entering, the fee will be forfeited by the parents. Where the parents can demonstrate that factors quite outside their control led to the cancellation, they may apply for a refund of the fee. Any refund, which will be made only in exceptional circumstances, will be entirely at the discretion of the Principal. The Means-Tested Concession does not normally apply to the Enrolment Confirmation Fee. Goods & Services Tax (GST) Due to the Commonwealth Government’s imposition of the Goods & Services Tax (GST) on prescribed taxable supplies from July 1, 2000, GST is required to be added to applicable fees and levies in accordance with current Australian Taxation Office rulings.
