facilities In 2001, Good News undertook a significant building program to provide new facilities (Worship Centre, Resource Centre, indoor hall and sporting facility, and covered walkways) and refurbish existing facilities. We have now achieved a standard of facilities that the school community can enjoy and be proud of, and that provides the very best for students and staff to enhance both learning and teaching. Shaded outdoor areas, purpose-built playgrounds for different age groups, well-equipped sporting facilities and a large library and resource centre all exist to maximise our children's learning potential. All rooms within the school are air-conditioned and are part of the school's technology network, ensuring students are able to use computers as a daily tool to help them in all areas of learning. Good News has a strategic master plan to ensure our facilities continue to grow and change to meet leading teacher practice. Over the next 5 years this program includes the refurbishment of our buildings and the building of new facilities as the demand requires. In 2004, Good News began a five year ICT services project that aims to provide outstanding ICT services and resources to the Good News Lutheran School community. This project is detailed on the eSchool.net.au website.
