Providing a Foundation for the Future

Welcome to the Good News Lutheran School website. Our commitment to a high quality education within a caring and Christ-centred environment has created a school that we are very proud of.

Good News is a small school, open to students from all backgrounds. As such, we have a rich and varied community that prides itself on inclusivity and the valuing of everyone. We serve the Centenary Suburbs, including Middle Park, Westlake, Jindalee, Mount Ommaney, Jamboree Heights, Sinnamon Park and Riverhills, as well as surrounding suburbs such as Corinda, Darra, Forest Lake, Springfield, Kenmore, Chapel Hill and Fig Tree Pocket.

At Good News we believe parents are the prime educators in a child's life and we seek to work in partnership with you to develop each student as a whole person spiritually, academically, physically, socially and emotionally. Each child is seen as a unique creation of God, born with special gifts and talents to be nurtured and developed appropriately, and who needs to be cared for and encouraged through their individual life journey.

We welcome your interest in our community and encourage you to explore our website fully. Please understand that some aspects of the site may only be accessed through a secure parent portal.

It’s at these times that God most earnestly reminds us to call on him for our strength and we are encouraged to take time to be still so we can refocus and recharge. Instead of pushing him aside in an attempt to get through our schedule, it’s precisely taking the time to pause with him that will sustain and uphold us. ...
