Pedagogy

Through the eConfidence program, our staff are continually improving their teaching and learning skills.

Good News Lutheran School students build digital literacy while using ICTs to enhance their knowledge of other Key Learning Areas, such as science and SOSE. Students from Prep to Year 7 enjoy flexible access to eLearning tools across the campus and at home via the egate.net.au learning gateway.

  • develop students' reflective learning, critical thinking skills and creativity through innovative digital pedagogy
  • enhance students' knowledge creation and integration through inquiry processes and challenging curriculum tasks using digital resources and technologies
  • negotiate with students to provide opportunities for them to demonstrate active management of personalised learning and assessment
  • enable students to extend and refine their digital literacies and independently apply skills to authenticate, critically evaluate and select relevant information and resources

Our eLearning strategies include ...

  • whole class - one-to-one access
  • small group - one-to-one access
  • individual - one-to-one access
